Why did I buy this CD?Sep 03, 2008 Because I was in highschool and thought, for some odd reason, that a band sounding mediocre in studio would sound good live. Only for EXTREME fans.

Absolutely incredible.Apr 12, 2006 This is what you call "energy". POD have it, and it shows on this cd. Sonny has great instincts for working the crowd, and Marcos is crazy good. Listen to Selah and Know Me, and if you don't feel the energy coursing through your veins, then go down to your local cemetery and bury yourself, because you're dead.
I only wish that THIS pod was around doing concerts today. The energy has faded as their popularity grew (they're still good though, don't get me wrong) and the new guitarist can't thrash it out like the original.
If you enjoy this cd, I would suggest 3 Dollar Bill Yall by Limp Bizkit, Get Some and Alive by Snot, Index Case, and United We Fear by The Accident Experiment (that's the new band Marcos the guitar player is in). Keep in mind, these suggestions for other cds are for the open minded listener; if you're a strictly Christian music fan, and will not listen to music with swearing and stuff, then just ignore my suggestions, as they could be considered offensive.
If you can get your hands on this cd, then I would suggest purchasing it. If you've previewed any of the old POD records and enjoyed their sound, you'll love this.
Peace out.

AWESOME CD!May 20, 2005 This CD is a must have for any P.O.D. fan or even any Rock fan in general. I play it all the time and it shows how great P.O.D. is live unlike alot of bands that sound good on the CD but then when it comes for a live performance sound horrible. I'm suprised people would let go of their copies of this for such a low price, it's a 5 star cd peoples! Do yourself a favor and buy it, you won't be dissapointed.
Great cdJan 31, 2004 first of all, to set the record straight, Murder was not deleted from this cd... it was made a secret track. its still there. all in all a great disk that really shows what awesome musical talent P.O.D. has.

They way they used to beMay 05, 2003 Ok, so technically I don't own this CD. I own the original release of P.O.D. live back when it had 10 songs on it. Add the fact that it's signed and you've got a rare one. It was done before P.O.D.'s rise to fame. After their sudden success, this was cleaned up, repackaged, and re-released. But anyways. This CD is definitly a must for any fan of P.O.D. looking to see what their roots were like. I perfectly shows the raw aggression they have with their music on stage. For those who don't know what Tomfest is, (where this was recorded) Tomfest is probably the best Christian Hard Rock music festival held every year. With so many great bands out there I feel this CD perfectly captures why P.O.D. has always been considered one of, if not the best bands out. One listen and you can tell this isn't like other "live" albums where the crowd is boosted, or the parts where they sing off key are dubbed over to create a better "live" experience for the listener. It shows how through the occational technicallity, P.O.D.'s members are incredible musicians who put their all into each performance. As to why I only gave it four stars, I had to dock a star due to the deletion of the number 10 track, "Murder." Sure, I know the public masses might be a little shocked to hear P.O.D. playing a song that starts off with them chanting "Abortion is murder..." over and over. I can understand why they'd take it off the re-release. However, this is who P.O.D. was. This is part of their history. I was hoping P.O.D. would've stuck to their guns and kept it on. But, still a great album. With or without the last track, this is still a must have album. Few live albums are even worth buying. This is an exception. Nowdays P.O.D. has to mask themselves with spiritual vagueness which I understand. With the way MTV and radio is, anything remotely Christian is filtered out. Every now and then I love putting this CD on and hearing P.O.D. before all that mattered. They're great now, and they were great then. Pick this CD up and find out for yourself.
